About Me

Hello Everyone!!

I am Zaiful and currently working as Mathematics and Academic-Potential-Test Preparation Tutor in one of Courses in Indonesia. Being born in Bugis area and by Buginese parents, Bugis language is my mother tongue, while Bahasa Indonesia is actually my second language. English comes as my third language and Japanese as the fourth. I am also currently learning Spanish, so it may as well be seen as my fifth language but I haven't been familiar with the language yet and currently postponing my study on it due to being busy in real life.

Had been growing with math as my favorite subject from elementary until high school, I liked math the most. Working on math problems is like playing an interesting puzzle that requires much thought to solve. I like to looking for short solution for math problems and it's actually very helpful when tutoring my students.

Beside mathematics, I am interested in learning any kind of things, especially related to language, history and science. I also like reading philosophical writings, short stories and manga. Watching anime and movies are also my hobbies that I usually do for killing time.

I had made a lot of blogs before decided to make this one my 'only' personal blog. You may encounter some of my posts somewhere else with different authors. Well, I often used different names while blogging. For private reasons I decide not to reveal my old nickname even though it's actually obvious if you have encountered some of my post before. And to avoid double post in different blogs, I decided to make my other blogs private only to me instead.

You may be confuse of what exactly this blog main 'topics'. 

Well, this is just a personal blog which serves as the place I share any of my interest to others over the whole. There's no specific topics I will consider as my focus as for now, the things I brought up here mostly include some customization of Anime and Winamp Skin, Photoshop Splash Screen, and Stronghold Crusader Mod; Translation of Buginese Folklore to Indonesian/English; Research and Education; Mathematics and Academic-Potential-Test Preparation materials; reviews; and basically everything that comes to my mind.

I may also talk about politics but I am not really someone who's so close-minded so I am very open to discussion and other opinion so no hard feeling please :).

I consider myself as a bit of Conservative and Naturalist. I like to learn different culture and hold a belief that one should not abandon his culture. I see humanity's attempt to advance technology as destructive, but living in modern society pushes me to follow the flow so it may make me having double standard. Even so, I still believe that humanity should be more friendly with nature because nature and us are inseparable.
